| And IT'S ABOUT TIME! I've labored longer and harder to get a grandbaby for the Sweneys' than I was in labor with my own babies! Well, wait a minute, I was never in labor with my own. Anyway, HEAR HEAR! You have no idea how excited I am. I guess you guys are excited, and I figure the actual grandparents are excited, but I will tell you FOR A FACT there is NO ONE else not blood related who could POSSIBLY be more excited than I am! Did I mention how excited I am? And YES - this is going to be THE most beautiful baby ever walked the face of the earth - celebrity material, for sure! Well, after my own, that is. I'm sorry, but you of course cannot top my own no matter what you do. I don't think it's 12 months to walking, but what do I know. I said 3 months to read aloud to the babies so you don't burn out early. How I miss reading to my babies. On the other hand, when the electricity goes out, I always look forward to it (though it doesn't happen often), because then I get a book and read aloud to Katie. Still - and she's 16. Right now, it's Junior Miss - a book from the 40's that was originally a series of short stories in the New Yorker. BABIES - FOR THE WIN! Well, one to start, anyway. Auntie Jeanie | |||
